SANO7 is an initiative that brings together small, practical, and active networks of leaders from different organizations to share insights and ideas on strategies and strategy execution. The acronym SANO7 stands for SEAT AFRICA NETWORKS OF 7.
How SANO7 works.
Leaders from different organizations register with SEAT AFRICA, which then profiles and matches them with six other leaders of similar levels from other organizations to form a network of seven SANO7 leaders with diverse expertise. The group elects a Chairperson and Secretary who will run for a year. The group organizes its activities, schedules meetings, and keeps SEAT AFRICA informed.
Philosophy.
The philosophy behind SANO7 is that smaller, intimate, and active networks of people operating at the same level work better than larger networks, which often end up inactive. The reason behind having seven leaders in a group is to avoid stalemate in decision-making. The small SANO7 groups of seven are neither too small nor too big.
Brand Icon.
The icon of SANO7 resembles a round table of seven SANO7 leaders. The colors on the different spaces on the table are rainbow colors, symbolizing hope, goodwill, new beginnings, promise, equality, communication, peace, and inclusivity.
Activities.
The type of activities in SANO7 includes informal meetings such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, drinks, etc. The group attends business events together, especially those organized by SEAT AFRICA. They analyze economic developments, share insights and ideas, support each other professionally and socially, and promote their businesses
